Workshops

The Supply Chain Systems Laboratory also offers high-impact, industry relevant workshops that can be delivered in conjunction with a distributor or manufacturer events. The workshops are generally conducted for a one-company audience so that company specific challenges can be discussed and potential solutions identified.

The workshops provide a forum for open discussion of the current challenges facing the company. As each subject is identified by the participants, list of potential solutions is developed. The challenges and solutions are then compared and contrasted with the knowledge and experience of the faculty presenter. This comparative analysis enables the potential solutions to be evaluated against other best practices within the same distribution channel to determine if they are viable solutions.

Following this analytical process, an action plan is written so that real, measurable change is initiated. The intended outcome of the workshops is that workable solutions be created to solve real-world, real-time challenges. The workshop programs length ranges from ½ day to up to two days.
