On-line educational programs

In order to provide educational opportunities without the time and cost of sending people off-site, the Supply Chain Systems Laboratory offers a wide array of distribution specific courses available via the internet. Too often it is not practical to send employees to educational programs off-site, and because of this the majority of employees do not have the opportunity to improve their business skills. Our on-line programs offer the distributor or manufacturer the opportunity to increase the knowledge and skills of their employees in a timely and cost effective way.

The curriculum can be tailored to the individual needs of each person. A specific employee development plan can be created for each person based on the person’s needs and the needs of the company. These courses are written so that each person can take the course at a time that is convenient to their work schedule. Each person can advance through the learning material at their on pace in order to match their learning style. These courses include an assessment to insure that the course material is learned.

The on-site educational programs are developed so that the learning is delivered in a time frame that meets the specific company’s goals. These programs range in length from 1 ½ days to a full week of education.

If you are with a Distribution Trade Associations, please contact Dr. Barry Lawrence for more information and alliance plans on online course discounts for your members and incentives for your association.
