Academics Overview

The primary mission of the lab is to provide students and distribution industry professionals with cutting edge supply chain information technology education and train them for tomorrow’s global business challenges. The lab provides supply chain technology education to students in the Industrial Distribution Program at Texas A&M University. The lab trains the students with hands-on-experience and problem solving exercises in industrial application software. The lab is in the process of developing an application hosting technology (Application Service Provider - ASP model) to offer these software packages and training to distance education students, other engineering and business programs and universities without the need to invest in expensive infrastructure. This will be a modular, innovative and cost effective solution to technology education.
